The Messenger
"The Messenger" emerged from a place where shadow and whisper converge. In Chinese ink, I sought to capture the raven’s commanding presence—its feathers layered with quiet intricacy, each stroke revealing the weight and sheen of midnight wings. The lone bird stands grounded yet alert, its vigilant gaze meeting yours, while two smaller ravens trace arcs above, breaking the stillness with subtle motion. These creatures carry an ancient intelligence, once revered as messengers in Nordic lore, and in this piece, I invite you to feel the weight of that silent communication—an unspoken link between world and spirit, presence and mystery.
